Its a couple weeks early, but seeing how strong she is, and that she is grabbing anything in reach and watching us closely while we eat, we figured we could give it a try. She loves it! I have to make sure to limit her, but she does enjoy eating solid foods! Yay!

Kayla's Blessing...Finally

Finally! Some pictures of the luncheon after Kayla's blessing. We were able to have a bbq with some good friends and family after church. We loved having everyone with us to help celebrate this day.

She was blessed Sunday, July 6th, 2008 by her father, Kollin J. Avarell. Thank you Kollin!

A Fun Train Ride!

Last weekend we went to the Heber Valley Railroad with Grandma Sue, and the Naylors. It was a lot of fun. At first Kourtney didn't want to get on, but once we were on and going, she really enjoyed the time on the train! Thanks to the Naylors for inviting us to go with them!

California Trip!

Last weekend there was a karate test scheduled in Lake Arrowhead, so Kollin and I decided to pack up the whole family and head on down there. Kollin wasn't actually testing, but he wanted to go anyway, and we ended up having a lot of fun! We got to see some good friends, and there even happened to be a ward party that we got to go to and see everyone. We were also able to celebrate Makinlee's second birthday with her. And Kourtney loved playing with Makinlee, and seeing her aunt, uncle and grandparents in California!

It was a nice relaxing weekend too. Good thing, cuz the drive was long!

Makinlee showed us her stuff. She was not afraid of it at all! It was so fun to watch her dive down her slide!


We took the boat to the village and stopped at the Farmers Market. Gotta love fresh local produce!


We went on the Carousel.


And fed the ducks. Kourtney loved this part! She was fascinated with being able to feed them and with how many ducks there were.

Kourtney LOVES her sandbox and will sit and play in there for a long while. The best time is in the morning, while its still cool and she's in her pj's...then all I need to do is take those off and throw them in the wash and she's good to go! *smile*
